Costs of Dentures

What will my dentures cost?

There is no set fee for dentures. Because the time required to meet each patient’s needs differs so does the fee. It is recommended that you have a full examination of your mouth and also any existing dentures you may have so so the dentist is able to make a better more educated decision about any future treatments and to get an idea of the estimated cost.

The estimated fee is also dependent on the amount of chair side time and laboratory time necessary to achieve the appropriate end result. First there is the fee which includes consultation and examination of £ 65. You can expect that the estimated fee will be between £ 900 – £ 1100 (This was for complete upper and lower dentures.) Single dentures cost about 2/3′s of the total fee compared to complete dentures which are the most expensive. Once you’ve selected the treatment of your choice you’ll be asked to pay 1/3 of your fee upon beginning treatment, to cover material denture costs. The remainder of the balance to be paid at the final office visit.

If you are using a private dentist, their fees can vary widely. Just because a private dentist’s price is higher than another dentist does not mean you are being overcharged. You might well be getting very high quality dental work.
