The Total Anti-Aging Makeover Face and Eyes

Posted on August 10th, 2010 by  |  Comments Off

So you want to improve how your face looks and feels. Who wouldn’t? Every woman should take pride in her appearance. Your face is the first thing that people see when they walk in the door. Whether you are at home, school, or work, it’s of utmost importance that you look your best at all times and put your "best foot forward."
The first thing that people will automatically notice about you will be your eyes.
Do they look bright and shiny, or dull and droopy? The difference is that people with good-looking eyes make sure they get enough rest. Are you getting enough sleep at night? Typically, you should be getting anywhere from 4 to 8 hours of sleep at night, 4 hours being the very least amount of sleep you can get and still stay healthy. Don’t sleep more than 8 hours per night or you will wind up not only feeling terribly but you will look rather sluggish. Cosmetic surgery on your eyes is not highly recommended unless you really have a pressing issue that needs to be resolved. For example, do you have droopy eyelids continually? Do you want or need eyelid correction surgery?
Do you need an "eye bag lift" in order to make your eyes appear more perky? All of these options should be considered before you actually carry out any plans for plastic surgery. Also, your eyes should be properly made up when you go out. You should apply eyeliner first. Next, you should apply some sort of eyeshadow. Ideally it is a shade of eyeshadow that complements your eye color.
For example, if you have blue eyes, light purple or any shade of blue eyeshadow will complement your eye color. Your eyes will most definitely look really gorgeous after you have worked them over but failing that head over to www.blepharoplasty.co.uk and get yourself a cosmetic surgeon with experience in more drastic measures.

Mr. Le Roux Fourie (www.lerouxfourie.co.uk)  used to only make money by doing plastic surgery in Leeds. There was news of a disease that had been killing several people in Ethiopia. He decided to do what he could to keep those infected people from dying. The poverty rate is so high that these many of these people have never even been seen by a doctor. When they get a disease they will either die from it or it will go away on its own. Nine out of ten times they will die after they are infected with Noma. The only cure for this disease is combined therapy of antibiotics and surgery.

Noma decays the skin on a person’s face. In the end stages it is hard for a person to speak or even eat. Which makes it very difficult to survive. Gangrene acts somewhat like Noma. Fourie developed a plan to help the infected people that were living in Ethiopia. Fourie and some colleagues organized a trip to Ethiopia to provide treatment to the infected people. they scheduled the trip to last for ten days and wanted to help as many sick people as they possibly could.

There were so many people suffering it became quite difficult to choose the lucky ones that would be saved. It was very hard for the doctors to see those that they did not have time to help and those where the disease was so far advanced they could not help. The surgeons ended up helping a total of 44 people. The treatment consisted of two surgeries because they had to remove and replace the dead skin. Other surgeons heard of the efforts made by this group and decided to help. They also planned their own trips to try to bring aid the people of Ethiopia.

Eyebag Removal Cosmetic Surgery As Seen Through The Eyes Of A Friend

Posted on May 19th, 2010 by  |  Comments Off

Recently a co-worker and friend had decided to undergo an extreme makeover of sorts. After careful deliberation, she opted to have elective cosmetic surgery. This was not a face lift or tummy tuck, but instead a procedure called Blepharoplasty. Also commonly referred to as eyelid surgery, eyebag surgery or eyebag removal.

To friends and family, this woman was already beautiful. Friends saw past the imperfections or flaws Jessica believed she possessed. She was just approaching the age of 40, with a vitality and exuberance which rivaled that of her teenage daughter. However, there was something undeniable in her mind – when she looked in the mirror all she could see was deeply embedded bags under her eyes and a tired, worn look.

As luck would have it, Jessica happened to come across an in-depth and extremely informative article. The article listed the benefits and procedures of eyebag removal surgery. At first she was admittedly hesitant and fearful of the unknown. Her apprehension was squelched however, by making an appointment with her primary care physician. He spoke with her extensively, listening to her concerns and answering questions to the best of his knowledge.

On the recommendation of her family doctor, she consulted with a surgeon who specialized in cosmetic eyebag removal surgery. Jessica underwent the surgical procedure which took place in her doctor’s office. Within six weeks was noticing such positive results, she had never looked back or regretted her decision. While her success story was something Jessica loved sharing, it represents one patient’s personal results. Every patient will of course have their own degree of success and level of satisfaction.

If one thing can be learned from her story, it would be this: if your instinct tells you that something is right for you, it’s worth a shot to follow up on your intuitive gut feeling.

Weekend Face Lifts: 4 Excellent Benefits of Mini Face Lifts

Posted on May 8th, 2010 by  |  Comments Off

Mini (aka “weekend”) face lifts are surgical procedures that are performed to lift sagging skin on the neck, jaw line and cheek regions of the face. They are called weekend face lifts by many because they are quick to perform and only require about one week for healing. Popular with everybody from celebrities to school teachers, mini face lifts are one very attractive alternative to incurring the expense, invasiveness and recovery times associated with traditional face lift surgery techniques.

Four excellent benefits associated with getting a mini face lift:

1. It’s a very good choice for people who want to enhance the appearance of their jowl and neck areas. Gentle lifting of the skin and its underlying tissue, tightening the underlying muscles, removing excess fatty tissues, accentuating the natural jaw line and raising sagging skin all combine to create a more youthful, healthy look.
2. Mini face lift procedures can be completed quickly from a certified facial plastic surgeon. In fact, most weekend face lifts only take about an hour and 1/2 to complete, far less time, than a MACS procedure. Additionally, recovery times are quite quick. Compared to the three or four weeks of recovery necessary after a traditional face lift surgery, the one week required to recover from a mini face lift seems almost negligible.
3. Weekend face lifts are considerably safer than traditional face lift surgeries. Less tissue is being manipulated, therefore less chance of side effects or complications exist. Very few negative side effects are ever associated with mini face lifts. And when there are side effects, it’s most likely just a bit of post-operative swelling, redness, bleeding, bruising and/or itching. These conditions normally are very temporary.
4. Mini face lifts are significantly less expensive than traditional facelift operations. No general anesthesia or IV sedation is required. No extended hospital stay is required. No lengthy period of recovery and/or observation is required. No expensive prescription medication is required. This all adds up to costs that are manageable for most individuals. And of course, many patients think that the results achieved are worth so very much more!
